The large front button is used to arm and disarm the system, while the small back button is used as a panic button or feature confirmation button. A single press on the arm / disarm button will arm the system, flash the indicators once (optional), give a single soft confirmation chirp from the siren and switch the awning / outside light on for 30 seconds.
To disarm the alarm, press the arm/disarm button again and the system will flash the indicators twice (optional), give 2 soft chirps from the siren and switch the awning / outside light on for 3 seconds, off for 1 second and then on for another 30 seconds. Switching the awning / outside light on when arming / disarming is a great comfort feature.
Silent Arm / Disarm via the remote
Whenever you arm /disarm the Autowatch system you get a single or double chirp from the siren. Late at night this chirp may be deselected via the remote by simply pressing the small back button first before pressing the big front button. The chirp can be permanently deselected in program mode if required. Emergency Override
The Autowatch 650 Security System comes standard with 2 override touch keys for emergency backup.
Panic Alert The Autowatch 650 has a panic alert via the small back button on the remote control as standard, but the option of a hard wired panic button/s that can be installed. This panic alert via the remote control or the push button is independent of the alarm status and will work when the alarm is armed or disarmed.
PIR Sensor (Supplied as standard) The Autowatch 650 comes standard with an intelligent wireless PIR with a transmission range of up to 30m. It relies on double pulse activation to prevent false alarming and has up to 2 years battery life. The Autowatch 650 can have up to 12 wireless sensors programmed into the "Home" or "Away" zones collectively. This can give better coverage if you have separated rooms on your caravan or boat that need protection.
Home Zone Isolation If you double press the arm / disarm button when arming, it will Isolate the "Home" zone and only arm the "Away" zone, allowing you to move around inside without triggering the alarm.
RECEPTACLE Warning Status LED Information The warning status LED is built into the touchkey receptacle and serves as a visual deterrent and shows you what state the alarm is in. Armed -
LED 3 flashes and a pause repeated. Disarmed - LED Off. When disarmed and the LED flashes one every 5 seconds – Main battery low indication. When disarmed and the LED flashes twice every 5 seconds - Low battery indicate for the battery back up battery.
Smart Power Usage The Autowatch 650 has a very low power consumption of <5m/amps when armed to ensure maximum battery life.
Test Mode / Warn Away Setting If you want to test the alarm you push and hold the arm/disarm button for 3 seconds until you hear the second confirmation tone from the siren. This then arms both zones but the siren will only give a short sharp beep instead of a full 30 second cycle if any of the sensors are triggered. This feature is also used as an "early warning" feature for when you are a short distance away and want to know if anyone enters the caravan, but don't want a full siren trigger. To exit test mode you simply push the arm/disarm button again.
External Light - Main Battery Low Indication Along with the status LED indication of low battery, the awning / outside light also offers an indication when the main battery is low. Instead of switching on for 30 seconds when you arm / disarm the system, it only switches on for 5 seconds.
LEG SENSOR Leg Sensor (Optional) For a caravan you can have up to 4 leg sensors fitted to prevent the stabiliser legs from being lifted. These are available in RF wireless or hardwired formats.

Battery Back up Siren (Optional) A battery back up siren can be added to the Autowatch 650 for extra protection. Outputs for Paging or Tracking
